About
Location: New York, New York; Shift: Day (United States of America) As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will design, implement, analyze, and modify new and existing programs, systems, and integrations to support business and patient care needs across the NYPH enterprise. You will document existing workflows, implement streamlined platforms, build relationships with clinical users, configure and test systems, and drive meetings and project management using your communication and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions for clinical and operational data. Document workflows for existing systems and develop new, streamlined platforms. Configure, test, and support integrations with EHRs, ancillary systems, and external partners. Collaborate with clinical users to define requirements and provide training. Lead meetings and manage projects to ensure timely delivery and compliance. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of related work experience. Experience with data warehouses and health‑care EMR systems. Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Crystal Reports, Cognos, or Tableau. Epic Module Certification or obtained within 6 months of employment. Preferred Criteria
Strong knowledge of EDI standards and transactions (HL7, X12, EDIFACT) and revenue‑cycle workflows. Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise interface solutions using engines like Rhapsody, Corepoint, or Cloverleaf. Experience with healthcare interoperability solutions using FHIR, RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, SMART on FHIR, and HIPAA compliance. Familiarity with change‑control policies and ticketing systems. Database/SQL experience and broad EHR knowledge. Experience with clinical applications and hospital operations. Compensation & Benefits
