Preparing and organizing the operating room to assist in surgical procedures Upholding sterile fields while meticulously following infection control protocols Providing the surgical team with instruments and supplies, anticipating needs with precision Managing surgical equipment before, during, and after operations Ensuring readiness of supplies for each surgical case Collaborating seamlessly with nurses, anesthesiologists, and fellow surgical staff Maintaining accurate counts and documentation throughout procedures Education and Credentialing Requirements:
Completion of a Surgical Technology program accredited by the appropriate bodies High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment Required Certifications:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification essential BLS certification required (or ability to secure within 90 days of hire) Essential Skills and Attributes:
