Job Summary: The Behavioral Health Support Representative (BHSR) provides clerical support to the behavioral health service line while applying patient advocacy to help individuals overcome barriers to care. This role regularly interacts with both general and behavioral health patient populations to deliver front office support, assist in navigating care needs, identify barriers, and connect patients with appropriate resources.
Job Duties:
* Welcome patients as they contact the health center in-person or by telephone, and provide information about services and resources available.
* Provide excellent customer service to patients and community agencies.
* Redirect calls to appropriate parties, as necessary.
* Handle patient registration, check-in, and check-out.
