We are seeking dependable Warehouse Workers to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our warehouse and contributes directly to our logistics capabilities. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing inventory. A strong focus on safety and accuracy is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with colleagues to meet daily operational targets. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and sort incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with precision and speed.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory according to warehouse layout and logistics requirements.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies; forklift operation may be an option for qualified individuals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring timely departures and arrivals.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily production and efficiency goals.
- Perform tasks involving lifting, standing, and moving for extended periods.
- Uphold the company's commitment to exceptional logistics service.
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform physical tasks including frequent lifting (up to 50 pounds), standing, walking, and bending for the duration of shifts. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not strictly required. A strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies, including consistent use of PPE. Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is helpful. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime. Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
Working Conditions:
This position is located in a warehouse environment with potential exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. Constant adherence to safety regulations is required, including the mandatory use of PPE. The role involves significant physical activity, including regular lifting and movement of materials. Employees will receive training on safe lifting techniques and the importance of PPE within our logistics framework.
