The hotel , with a capacity of 143 rooms, also includes a fitness center/hammam/sauna, 1 restaurant with terrace, 8 seminar rooms, and 1 parking lot with spaces. The establishment is ideally located at the Lausanne Vennes highway exit. It is directly connected to the M2 X metro station located just below, serving downtown Lausanne and the shores of Lake Geneva. To complete our Front Office team, we are looking for: A ROTATING RECEPTIONIST (M/F) – 100% permanent position. Your profile: Experience in hotel reception preferred; Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent; Good command of English, knowledge of another language is an asset; Familiarity with tools and knowledge of the X 8 system is a plus; Affinity and ease for customer contact; Smiling and dynamic, excellent autonomy, versatility, and flexibility; Ability to remain calm in any situation during day and evening shifts. Night shifts during occasional night replacements. Your main tasks: Ensure customer check-in and check-out, as well as follow-up throughout the stay; Manage the telephone standard, email processing, and; Handle complaints; Manage the billing from arrival to the customer's departure; Handle cash funds and cash transactions; Respond to customer reviews on various channels; Have a good knowledge of products, prices, and the hotel's environment and inform customers.
