The role of a Border Patrol Agent involves protecting the nation's borders and enforcing immigration laws. This position requires strong observational skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work in high-stress environments.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration regulations by inspecting documents and personal belongings to verify citizenship status or potential law infractions.
• Maintaining surveillance from covert positions, including nighttime operations using infrared scopes, to prevent and apprehend undocumented non-citizens and smugglers at or near border areas.
