In this role, you will work with a small team to leverage large language models (LLMs) to automate a variety of business tasks. You will translate a business opportunity into a data?science question, use your mathematical and statistical toolset to model relevant data, and prove the impact of your algorithm. Finally, you will work with a team of machine learning engineers and software developers to take R&D code to production. C.H. Robinson recognizes the importance of workplace flexibility. Responsibilities Evaluate and understand current & nascent modelling methods in the Data Science space Maintain, expand, and ensure the data quality of natural language Train and evaluate Large Language Models on a variety of topics Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver new Natural Language Processing & Artificial Intelligence products Develop new features for existing algorithms through statistical and machine learning methodologies Validate and implement modeling improvements to increase accuracy of data science algorithms Embrace an R&D mindset through Rapid Prototyping &?? Iterative Experimentation Work closely with Tech delivery teams to productionize successful models in an on?demand environment
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in advanced analytics, machine learning and/or data science or one year of professional experience with an advanced degree (Masters or Ph?D) Bachelors degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline Familiarity with transfer learning & large language models Experience transforming datasets to improve model performance Experience training neural networks, especially as it relates to transfer learning Experience in programming: Python or R Familiarity with data fundamentals including SQL
