Tire Technician

Duties

• Install, repair, and replace tires efficiently using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Conduct tire rotations, balancing, alignments, and pressure checks to maintain safety standards.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid top-offs to keep vehicles running smoothly.
• Assist customers by explaining services needed, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive service experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and properly handle heavy lifting tasks safely during tire installations and repairs.
• Support shop maintenance routines to uphold high standards of automotive service quality.

Skills

• Automotive repair experience.
• Mechanical knowledge, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, alignments, and tire services.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Familiarity with automotive service procedures and sales techniques is a plus.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
