About
Electrician
to join our team in a full-time, permanent role. This is a
mobile position , requiring travel across the
West & East Midlands
and occasionally wider UK locations. The successful candidate will carry out a mix of
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) , reactive works, and electrical installations across both commercial and domestic properties.

Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (40 hours per week) Salary:

Key Responsibilities
Carry out
Planned & Reactive Electrical Maintenance
across multiple sites
Complete
electrical installations
in commercial and domestic environments
Perform
EICR testing , 1 & 3 phase power installations, and LED lighting upgrades
Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults, and complete repairs efficiently
Provide accurate assessments when additional works are required
Communicate clearly with customers when follow-up visits are needed
Ensure all tasks comply with
current electrical codes, standards, and site rules
Maintain a cost‑effective approach when sourcing materials
Keep all mandatory training and competencies up to date
Complete all job‑related documentation accurately and promptly
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment to a safe and clean standard
Support management and liaise with clients to ensure work is completed correctly
Actively identify additional work opportunities when appropriate
Participate in the
emergency call‑out rota (1 in 6‑8 weeks)
Candidate Requirements
Minimum
5 years' industry experience
in electrical installations
Strong electrical knowledge across both domestic and commercial settings
Excellent understanding of
BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
Experience with electrical testing and inspection
Strong understanding of Health & Safety and safe‑working methods
Self‑motivated, detail‑focused, and able to work independently or in a team
Flexible to travel to multiple sites and undertake overtime when required
Able to communicate effectively with customers, tenants, and colleagues
Full clean UK driving licence
Essential Qualifications
City & Guilds Level 3 - Electrical Installations (BS 7671:2018)
City & Guilds 2391 / 2391-52 - Testing & Inspection

time and a half
Call‑out rota : £100 standby, £40 for first hour attended, remaining time at time and a half
