Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist for our Dallas, Texas facility. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring efficient stock rotation. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of warehouse Logistics and best practices. Your contribution is essential to our operational efficiency and Safety .
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock and minimizing stock-outs or overstock situations.
  • Track the movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to manage and report on inventory data.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Promote and enforce strict Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE .

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
  • Understanding of Logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
