Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of goods within our extensive logistics facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials efficiently and safely. Your role is critical in maintaining the flow of inventory and ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and on time. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to all operational procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be expected to perform pre-operation checks on equipment and ensure the proper use of PPE at all times.   • Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
  • Transport goods to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Stack and organize inventory accurately.
  • Perform daily pre-operation inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient logistics operations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable forklift operating experience.
  • Valid forklift certification required.
  • Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret load tags and order information.
  • Physical ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs and work in varying warehouse conditions.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Familiarity with logistics and material flow within a distribution center.
  • A strong commitment to safety and responsible operation.
