Intern, Internal Audit
This is a full-time summer internship lasting from May 11, 2026, until August 28, 2026.

Job Summary
CN is seeking an Internal Audit Intern to assist in the execution of Internal Audit projects. This includes performing audit procedures and data analysis to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of business processes and controls. The Internal Audit Intern will also assist in the identification of practical audit observations, aiming to strengthen and streamline existing processes. We are actively seeking inquisitive, passionate and driven individuals to join the team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of Internal Audit projects
  • Perform audit procedures and data analysis to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of business processes
  • Perform audit work in accordance with professional standards
  • Provide high-quality documentation in support of Internal Audit findings
  • Evaluate information and provide a preliminary assessments of findings
  • Assist in the preparation of audit reports and development of management action plans
  • Participate in SOX summer testing

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication in both French and English
  • Experience in data analytics considered an asset

Education

  • Enrollment in a bachelor's or graduate degree program in one of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, I&T or other areas related to the CPA profile
