We are seeking an experienced, confident, high-volume, high-quality spay/neuter surgeon to join our team! The ideal candidate is capable of performing efficient surgical procedures while maintaining exceptional standards of care. This role is well-suited for veterinarians who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy making a measurable impact in the animal welfare world.
*DESCRIPTION*
Faithful Friends Animal Society is a comprehensive, nonprofit animal welfare organization that serves 18,000 pets and 24,000 people a year through programs and services that focus on the most vulnerable. For 23 years, Faithful Friends has led reforms in animal welfare that have become the building blocks for a comprehensive, humane animal welfare system in Delaware. The number of pets and people we serve each year continues to increase as the demand for our services continues to grow.
*REQUIREMENTS*
* DVM or VMD degree with Delaware veterinary license (if you have an out-of-state license, we can help)
* Experience with high-volume spay/neuter strongly preferred
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
*ADDITIONAL SKILLS*
* Humane Alliance high volume spay/neuter training a PLUS
* Fear-Free program certification is a PLUS.

No emergency calls. No on-call shifts. Flexible schedule opportunities Monday through Friday. Funds available to cover CE credits, professional association fees, veterinary license fee, and controlled-drug renewals. Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $100.00 - $120.00 per hour
