We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in New York City, New York. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in our warehouse. Your expertise in operating specialized equipment is vital to maintaining our inventory accuracy and operational flow. You will work closely with the warehouse management and inventory control teams to ensure optimal storage and retrieval of goods. Responsibilities include: operating a reach truck to move pallets of inventory to and from racking; safely stacking and unstacking materials; conducting pre-operation checks on equipment; maintaining accurate records of inventory movements; assisting with inventory cycle counts and physical inventories; adhering to all safety regulations and warehouse procedures; and keeping the work area clean and organized. The ideal candidate will possess a valid reach truck certification, a strong understanding of warehouse safety practices, and excellent spatial awareness.
