Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment (e.g., conveyors, pallet jacks, forklifts).
- Diagnose and repair minor mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot operational problems and find effective solutions.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Support the logistics team with operational tasks as needed, including material handling.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, warehouse technician, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including Lifting and working in various positions.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must wear all required PPE.
