We are seeking a Pastry Cook to join our team and support the creation of refined, innovative desserts that align with our culinary philosophy.

Position Overview

The Pastry Cook plays a vital role in daily pastry production and plating, executing desserts with precision and consistency in a fast-paced, fine-dining environment. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in pastry techniques, an eye for detail, and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• • Ability to learn, understand, and execute menus
  • Follow Recipe and guidelines set by the management team
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and respect
  • Open and close the line
  • Maintain and ensure compliances with all regulations of New York City's health and safety protocol 
  • Ability to explain or answer all food preparation related questions
  • Assist team members when needed, work well in a group oriented environment
  
   
  Qualifications:
  • minimum 1+ Year of pastry experience in restaurant 
  • A strong sense of urgency and strong communication skill
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and plating executions
  • Knowledge of and interest in Asian cuisine is plus
  • Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly, and constantly improve
  • Must be meticulously clean and aware of all food safety standards
