At Statista, we're all about facts and data, for we are the world's leading business data platform. By providing reliable and easy-to-use data as well as various data analytics products and services, we empower people worldwide to make fact-based decisions.

Founded in Hamburg in 2007, we have quickly grown into a global company with offices in major cities such as London, New York, and Tokyo. And we still have a lot of plans. Our constant growth does not only prove our success, but also keeps creating new development and career opportunities for our employees.

We value and celebrate our diverse culture. You are welcome here for who you are, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or whether you prefer bar graphs to pie charts. Your story matters – keep writing it as part of our team. Are you ready to join us?

Your Team:

In our Platform Design team, we focus on the holistic optimization of the entire Statista platform to provide a positive and intuitive user experience. We work closely with our internal clients to develop customized solutions and implement them visually. We take care of a wide range of tasks, including the further development and optimization of the platform itself and the products, the development of new features and the maintenance and enhancement of our design system.

As an experienced UI Designer, you always have the user's perspective in mind and at the same time think in a conversion-optimized way.
  • You iterate each of your developed concepts from a design and user perspective together with the interdisciplinary project team and always have the big picture in mind.
  • While leading your team, you will also take an active, hands-on role in key projects, contributing directly to design tasks where needed to drive initiatives forward.

  • You have successfully completed a degree or training in the field of interaction design, information design, communication design or similar and have several years of experience as a user interface and user experience designer for digital products.
  • Leadership experience of UI/UX teams.
  • You have relevant experience in working with design guidelines, pattern libraries and the application of human interface/material design guidelines.
  • Define product workflows, interactions, and UI specifications in close collaboration with product managers and the engineering teams.
  • You possess solid technical knowledge, understanding the basic principles of front-end development and how UI/UX decisions impact implementation, performance, and scalability.
  • You are confident in using Figma, Miro or comparable design and wireframe tools.
  • You have strong presentation skills, capable of clearly communicating design ideas, rationale, and solutions to diverse stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Creative exchange within your team is very important to you. You inspire with ideas and are committed to developing and coaching your team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
