Crescent City Orthopedics is a premiere orthopedics practice serving the Greater New Orleans Area and southern Louisiana. The practice, located in the heart of Metairie, is a state-of-the-art facility which possesses over 2500 square feet of dedicated space for the physical therapy department.

*Required Qualifications:*
-Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy (new grads welcome)
-Current license and registration to practice physical therapy in the state of Louisiana
-Current CPR / First Aid certification
*Primary Duties:*
1. Provides comprehensive rehabilitative care and physical therapy services to patients / clients consistent within boundaries of the profession as outlined by the Louisiana Physical Therapy Practice Act and ATPA practice standards.
2. Demonstrates skill and accuracy in performing age appropriate evaluations of patients. Plans and implements age appropriate patient care consistent with the medical plan of care for each patient, including discharge planning.
3. Performs all duties scheduled during shift, while maintaining quality standards, to include completion of documentation and performance of clerical duties according to policy and procedures.
4. Promotes smooth interdisciplinary and staff team operations.
5. Contributes to department Quality Management activities providing recommendations for systematic, programmatic improvements based upon the results of the data.
6. Assumes responsibility for opportunities for professional growth and for the growth of the department/ physical therapy program.
7. Provides leadership in orienting, assigning, supervising, and evaluating new and experienced personnel.
8. Performs all other duties as assigned - must be patient oriented during treatment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $78,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
