About
*Position Summary:*
LECOM Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated *X-Ray Technologist* to join our Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, operate specialized equipment including a *C-arm in the Operating Room (OR)*, and provide high-quality patient care. This role also includes *on-call responsibilities* to support surgical and emergency cases.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
* Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, including *C-arm fluoroscopy units in the OR* for surgical procedures.
* Ensure accurate positioning of patients and proper radiation safety measures.
* Prepare and maintain imaging records and documentation in the PACS system.
* Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during intraoperative imaging.
* Respond to emergency imaging requests and participate in *on-call rotations* as scheduled.
* Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
* Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the imaging process.
*Qualifications:*
* *Current ARRT certification* in Radiography (R) required.
* *State licensure* as an X-Ray Technologist in Pennsylvania.
* Previous experience operating *C-arm equipment in an OR setting* preferred.
* Strong knowledge of radiation safety and sterile techniques.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Flexibility to work varying shifts and participate in on-call coverage.
