Position Summary

The Banquet Server is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional service to guests during events at Five Points Event Center. From weddings and corporate functions to fundraisers and community celebrations, servers help ensure every event runs smoothly and guests leave happy.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and deliver excellent service throughout the event.
• Set up and break down tables, chairs, linens, glassware, silverware, and décor according to event plans.
• Serve plated meals, buffet items, and beverages in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor guest needs, replenish drinks, and clear plates discreetly.
• Communicate with the kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in service and prep areas.
• Follow all alcohol service and safety guidelines.
• Assist in event setup and teardown, including resetting for the next event when needed.

Qualifications

• Prior serving or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule – weekend and evening availability required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 30 per week
