Job Description Our client, a large and highly regulated organisation, is seeking an experienced Transformation Lead Finance to lead strategic finance transformation initiatives across operational, systems, and organisational programmes. This role will play a key part in driving finance modernisation, operational efficiency, and large-scale business change initiatives across multiple functions and regions. Job Responsibilities Lead end-to-end finance transformation programmes across multiple business units and operational functions. Design and implement finance Target Operating Models (TOMs) to support scalability, governance, and process optimisation. Drive the implementation and enhancement of enterprise finance systems, automation solutions, and reporting platforms. Partner closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance functions. Support organisational transformation activities including integrations, restructures, and operational change programmes. Ensure all transformation initiatives align with regulatory, governance, and statutory requirements. Develop and enhance financial reporting frameworks, KPI structures, and operational performance metrics. Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring delivery milestones and programme objectives are achieved. Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, operational improvement, and process efficiencies. Provide financial insight and strategic analysis to support executive decision-making and long-term planning. Experience Required Minimum 10 years experience in finance leadership, finance transformation, or operational change environments. Proven experience delivering large-scale finance transformation programmes and enterprise system implementations. Strong background in finance operations, governance, financial reporting, and process improvement. Demonstrated success leading complex organisational change and cross-functional transformation initiatives. Experience operating within regulated sectors such as financial services, insurance, pharmaceutical, or shared services environments. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and executive teams. Experience managing multi-jurisdictional teams and global operational programmes. Excellent communication, programme delivery, and leadership capabilities. Desirable Skills Experience with enterprise finance platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, SimCorp, or equivalent ERP systems. Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, regulatory reporting, and governance frameworks. Exposure to mergers & acquisitions, post-acquisition integrations, or finance restructuring programmes. Strong understanding of automation technologies and finance process optimisation initiatives. Experience developing reporting dashboards, KPI frameworks, and operational performance tracking. Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and large-scale change management programmes. Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA preferred. Educational Requirements Bachelors degree or third-level qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, or a related discipline. Relevant professional finance or transformation certifications would be advantageous.
