Travel Physical TherapistLocation: Reading, MA Duration: 13-26 Weeks Weekly Pay: Up to $1987 Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k, Travel Reimbursement, License Reimbursements, Referral Bonuses Job Description: Capstone Health, a leading provider of healthcare staffing solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Physical Therapist for a contract role with our esteemed client, Turning Point - BEAR MOUNTAIN of READING, located in the charming community of Reading, Massachusetts. As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive physical therapy services to patients with diverse conditions, helping them regain function, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical expertise within a supportive and dynamic healthcare setting. Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments and re-assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patient goals. Implement a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, modalities, gait training, and functional activities. Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics, home exercise programs, and adaptive equipment to promote independence and prevent re-injury. Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and document all aspects of patient care accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all infection control and safety protocols. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in physical therapy practice. Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Massachusetts. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Adaptability and willingness to embrace new challenges and environments inherent in travel healthcare. Schedule:
Days 36 hours per week
