Job Description? The Opportunity: Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician. Shift Details: PRN Swing The Work: · Responsible for the processing, sterilization, and documentation related to sterility of patient care supplies instruments and equipment used throughout the hospital in accordance with the AORN Standards of Practice · Prepares and assembles instrument sets and surgery trays using count sheets · Verifies proper function and integrity of instruments · Labels instruments correctly and returns them to their proper location · Efficient in the quality execution of instrumentation that is directly related to patient safety and department efficiencies · Familiar with AAMI Joint Commission and APIC standards related to infection control Requirements:
One year experience in Sterile Processing - Required
To be successful in this position, you will need to have confidence in your abilities and strong communication skills.
