divh2Business Development Representative (BDR)/h2pThe Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and customer acquisition activities. This role focuses on building and maintaining a pipeline of prospective enterprise-level customers and generating qualified new business opportunities aligned with company objectives. The BDR qualifies prospective customers, develops early-stage business relationships, and coordinates the transition of new accounts to Enterprise Account Managers (EAMs) and Enterprise Customer Relationship Managers (ECRMs) for onboarding, service execution, and ongoing account management. This role is focused on new business development and does not maintain long-term ownership or management of customer accounts following transition to the enterprise teams. The BDR works closely with sales leadership and internal business partners to support pipeline growth, maintain accurate prospecting activity, and contribute to enterprise sales objectives. This position requires strong communication skills, organization, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment./ph3Responsibilities:/h3pSales Prospecting New Business Acquisition/pulliConduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, networking, and other lead generation strategies, to identify potential enterprise-level customers./liliBuild and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through consistent prospecting activity and follow-up efforts./liliIdentify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities based on customer fit, transportation spend, geography, modes, and business needs./liliSchedule and participate in discovery calls and initial customer meetings./liliPresent IELs services and value proposition aligned with customer needs and business objectives./liliSupport the onboarding process for newly acquired customers./li/ulpCustomer Transition Internal Collaboration/pulliCoordinate the transition of newly acquired customers to Enterprise Account Managers (EAMs) and Enterprise Customer Relationship Managers (ECRMs)./liliCommunicate customer expectations, operational requirements, and relevant account information to internal teams to support a successful transition./liliCollaborate with Enterprise Account Sales Managers (EASM), Enterprise Sales Operations Managers (ESOM), and other internal business partners regarding account fit, onboarding, and transition planning./liliMaintain effective communication with internal teams throughout the customer acquisition and transition process./li/ulpSales Process Administrative Responsibilities/pulliMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospecting activity, customer interactions, and pipeline updates within company systems./liliRepresent IEL professionally in all customer interactions and communications./liliFollow established sales processes, procedures, and best practices./li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliHigh school diploma or GED required/liliExperience with lead generation, prospecting, or sales development/liliStrong verbal and written communication skills/liliAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team/liliBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems/li/ulpWe are committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities in our job application procedures.
