Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays, as needed. Must possess licensure as a Practical Nurse in the State of Florida. Must have current CPR certification. Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Successful completion of the employment screening process to include, but not limited to, a national background investigation and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year of experience in long-term care / 120 bed skilled nursing facility, with a geriatric population. One (1) year of experience providing practical nursing services. Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
Position Description: The incumbent is responsible for providing quality care to veteran residents to ensure their health, safety, and security in accordance with established agency Standard Operating Procedures and Nurse Practice Act. Perform assigned duties to include but not limited to administration of medications and treatments per MD order, monitoring and providing interventions to meet the needs of the resident, completing accurate Clinical documentation reflective of resident's status and supervising CNA and other supportive caregivers.
