Job Description Job Description ** Job Overview** We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year in Dearborn, MI. This is a full-time, school-based position. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping individuals with speech and language disorders, particularly within pediatric populations. You will play a key role in supporting students’ communication needs and contributing to their academic and social success. ** Responsibilities**
Conduct assessments to diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with communication disorders Provide speech and language therapy to individuals with various speech disorders Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to implement comprehensive treatment plans Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes Stay current on advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
** Experience**
Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language pathology Proficiency in patient assessment and early intervention techniques Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and professionalism Familiarity with a variety of speech therapy techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
License/Certification:
MI SLP license (Required) ASHA CCCs (Preferred)
