Cardiovascular Operating Room Scrub Tech Day shifts, 4x10-hour schedule from 06:00 to 18:00. Alternating days off with on-call requirements of 1-2 call days per week, requiring a 30-minute response time. Weekend coverage is expected every third or fourth weekend, spanning from Friday 4:30 PM to Monday 6:00 AM, and holidays as needed. We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Scrub Tech with open heart experience. The candidate will participate in clinical activities, ensuring a high standard of patient care in the cardiovascular operating room. Responsibilities:
Assist in surgical procedures in the cardiovascular operating room. Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgeries. Ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are available for surgical procedures. Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care. Monitor patient status and respond to changes appropriately.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Experience with EPIC charting system is highly preferred. Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination mandates (medical/religious exemptions allowed). A valid PA license is required for all candidates.
