Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols. Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and engage in the preventive upkeep and calibration of laboratory instruments. Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples for analysis as necessary. Keep meticulous documentation of all procedures, train new personnel or students, and contribute to maintaining stringent lab quality standards. Ensure a tidy, safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements. Education
Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, in conjunction with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications
ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment. Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment. Skills
