Inside Sales Representative –
(For a large signage company)
Location:
Anaheim, CA (100% In-Office) Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Compensation: Base Salary:
$75,000 – $100,000 (Depending on Experience) Commission:
0.5% Commission of Gross Margin on assigned accounts
About our client: Our client is a premier nationwide signage manufacturer with a 25-year legacy of excellence. Specializing in high-impact branding solutions for the banking industry and national fast-food chains, managing everything from design to in-house manufacturing at our Anaheim facility. Currently undergoing a strategic growth phase and are looking for a high-ownership Inside Sales Representative to drive profitability and service excellence within our existing client base.
The Role: Strategic Account Growth This is not a "wining and dining" sales role. We are looking for an operationally minded "go-getter" who can own the lifecycle of a sale. You will serve as the critical bridge between our clients and our production team, ensuring that every project is accurately bid, properly permitted, and executed to the highest branding standards. The ideal candidate understands that a successful sale isn't just about the top-line number—it’s about protecting the gross margin and delivering flawless service that encourages long-term account growth.
Key Responsibilities Account Farming:
Nurture and expand relationships with existing national accounts to identify and capture new project opportunities. Proposal & Bid Management:
Lead the initial sales process by drafting comprehensive proposals. You must understand margins and work closely with the estimating team to ensure bids are both competitive and profitable. Permitting & Compliance:
Navigate the complexities of general contracting and city permitting. You will be responsible for ensuring project expectations align with local codes and branding requirements before a project is finalized. Sales Support:
Act as the primary internal resource for the sales team, managing the "early stage" administrative and technical hurdles of a project. Branding Advocacy:
Set clear expectations with clients regarding branding specs and timelines, ensuring they receive a level of service that fosters trust and repeat business.
Qualifications & Profile Experience:
While Signage Industry experience is a plus, we are highly interested in candidates with a strong background in General Construction or General Contracting. Technical Knowledge:
A critical understanding of permitting processes and building codes is essential. Financial Acumen:
You should be comfortable discussing margins, costs, and profitability. You understand that your success is tied to the business’s bottom line. Attitude:
We are looking for "go-getters"—individuals who are proactive, own their work from start to finish, and don't require micromanagement. Communication:
Exceptional ability to coordinate between internal departments (Estimating, Manufacturing, PMs) and external client stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits Earning Potential:
In addition to a strong base salary, you will earn 0.5% of the gross margin on your assigned accounts. Top performers who drive significant profitability can see variable compensation multipliers of 2-3x. Health & Wellness:
