About
The person in this role will manage the day-to-day operations of the store, located on the high school campus. Essential functions include performing various clerical duties, answering telephones, coordinating ordering and displaying of merchandise, supervising students working in the store, selling tickets to school events, supervising the DECA club activities, and assisting the supervising teacher in the classroom when required. Knowledge of applicable federal, state, county and city statutes, rules, policies and procedures is required, along with skills in communication, public relations, and operating a personal computer utilizing various software applications. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and two years of clerical experience, with retail experience preferred. Must possess or obtain an IVP fingerprint clearance card and pass a background clearance check. May be required to lift and carry heavy, bulky supplies and materials weighing up to 20 pounds and work outside normal working hours.
