Database Administrator III

What's the Job?
Manage the full lifecycle of DB2 mainframe databases, from analysis through decommissioning.
Participate in DB2 related z/Os Database initiatives and support related projects.
Develop and maintain REXX and Python scripts for database automation and performance monitoring.
Extract and analyze SMF data to optimize DB2 performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database integrity and security.
What's Needed?
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with DB2 databases on mainframe systems.
Deep knowledge of SMF data analysis and REXX programming.
Working proficiency in Python programming and Splunk tools.
Experience with z/Os Database initiatives and database lifecycle management.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure optimal database performance.
