Job Description: Design, deploy, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters in production and non-production environments. Configure and maintain Kubernetes workloads including Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, and Ingress controllers. Implement scalable and highly available architectures using AKS best practices (node pools, autoscaling, HA designs). Manage container lifecycle using Docker and Azure Container Registry (ACR). Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Integrate AKS with Azure networking components such as VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, and Application Gateway (AGIC). Implement security best practices including RBAC, Azure AD integration, pod security policies, and secrets management. Monitor cluster health and application performance using Azure Monitor and Grafana. Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for cluster, networking, and application issues. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM, or Bicep. Manage cluster upgrades, patching, and capacity planning to ensure platform reliability. Optimize cluster cost and performance through resource tuning and scaling strategies. Collaborate with development teams to onboard applications to AKS and improve deployment practices. Enforce governance, compliance, and security standards across Kubernetes environments. Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
