As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a critical role in turning donations into opportunity - supporting your team, serving your community, and building skills that take your career to the next level.
As a key leader in the store, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to ensure daily success while developing your own leadership skills.
- Support and lead all aspects of store operations, customer service, production, and team development
- Step confidently into the Store Manager role when needed - leading by example with professionalism and integrity
- Execute daily, monthly, and annual operational plans to meet performance and budget goals
- Train, coach, and develop team members while reinforcing strong service and production standards
- Create a welcoming, mission-aligned environment for customers, donors, and staff
- Assist with scheduling and staffing strategies to meet production and sales demands
- Monitor donation levels and coordinate merchandise needs with the warehouse
- Build proficiency across all areas of store operations and production
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, safety standards, loss prevention, and company procedures
- Prepare and review store reports and actively lead and participate in team meetings and huddles

- 1 year of retail management experience preferred
- A reliable vehicle and valid NYS driver's license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven leadership ability and sound judgment

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive tasks (tagging, hanging)
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly
- $20$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Bonus eligibility tied to individual and store performance
