The Associate Territory Manager will be accountable for account-based selling to health care providers (HCPs) who prescribe and influence treatment for the disease states represented in Lilly’s portfolio. This role involves building relationships with key customers across multiple HCP specialties and key hospital accounts to drive utilization and adoption of Lilly medicines. Responsibilities
Promote the full portfolio of priority products across multiple HCP specialties. Understand the marketplace within the territory and tailor the territory strategy to grow and own business outcomes. Navigate the changing healthcare environment and payer landscape to increase understanding of accounts and influence key stakeholders to become trusted partners. Utilize business insight tools, data, and analytics to identify trends, priorities, opportunities, and potential obstacles. Implement and adopt new technologies, including AI company-approved tools, to streamline customer interactions. Identify and advocate for new opportunities to enhance the customer experience. Model a growth mindset to create positive experiences. Embrace Lilly’s selling, competency, and account management models to elevate performance and drive results. Demonstrate high learning agility to understand disease state, marketplace, clinical trials, and product label. Promote the BU portfolio by planning and engaging in patient-centered dialogues with customers. Drive consistent ways of working within the Regional Health Care Market across HCP specialties to meet customers’ needs. Fully utilize the Virtual Medical Hub. Achieve targeted sales and execution metrics while adhering to company policies and procedures. Own the customer relationship for product promotion, on-label medical questions, and general market access. Hold self-accountability for results and performance across all accounts, from individual HCPs to large health systems. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to foster trust and create collaborative success. Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree. Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Additional Preferences
Demonstrated business ownership skills, selling/customer experience skills, and execution/results. Account based selling experience. Ability to identify and engage staff members in accounts. Strong learning agility, self‑motivated, team focused, and emotionally intelligent. Bilingual skills as aligned with territory and customer needs. Residence within 30 miles of the territory boundary. Compensation & Benefits
Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $63,000 - $151,800. Full‑time employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
