Overview: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced express care clinic setting within the Southeastern United States region. This full-time day position offers an opportunity to support patients under the guidance of physicians and office managers, ensuring quality and safety in every interaction. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Deliver direct nursing care tailored to age-specific physiological needs, following established care protocols. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and administer medications as prescribed by physicians. Promote a safe clinical environment by recognizing and responding to life-threatening situations promptly. Engage in continuous performance improvement activities and uphold quality standards. Foster respectful and supportive relationships with patients, honoring their cultural and spiritual preferences within medical guidelines. Contribute to cost containment efforts and ensure precise billing for patient services. Participate actively in enhancing patient satisfaction and clinic efficiency.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a compact state or the relevant regional licensure is mandatory. Experience: No prior experience required; new graduates are welcome to apply. Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Knowledge of age-specific physiological and psychosocial patient needs is important. Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively, observe patients closely, and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. May involve exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.
