South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care, to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery. Modern, fully renovated Emergency Department within the new Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital building (opened 2023). Designated Level II Trauma Center with over 90,000 annual ED visits. Comprehensive on-site services including advanced imaging, trauma surgery, neurology, cardiology, and ICU support. Strong culture of collaboration between Emergency Medicine, nursing, and consulting services. Flexible schedule available.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Medical School. Completion of an ABMS Approved Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program. Board certified or the ability to become board certified within 5 years of hire. Active, unrestricted NYS License. Experience attending to an under-served population preferred.
Per Diem Rate: $186.84* per hour
