Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic examinations, and creating personalized care strategies Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians, or autonomously based on credentialing Guiding patients and their families on prevention, wellness strategies, and disease management Prescribing medications and therapies aligned with your scope of practice Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless, holistic patient care Accurately documenting all information within electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days) Attributes That Elevate You
