Elle regroupe plusieurs entités, dont un hôtel, une station-service, ainsi que des entreprises de gestion des déchets, de transport et de construction, pour un total de près de 150 employés.
À propos du rôle
En tant que Conseiller(ère) en ressources humaines, vous soutiendrez les gestionnaires et les employés de l'organisation dans tous les domaines des RH. Vos tâches quotidiennes comprendront principalement :
- Opérations RH : Soutenir l'équipe de direction sur divers sujets RH tels que la planification des effectifs, le développement organisationnel, la gestion des talents, les relations avec les employés, la gestion de la performance, la conformité RH et l'amélioration continue des pratiques RH.
- Santé et sécurité au travail : Soutenir les initiatives de santé et sécurité (comités, programmes, etc.) et gérer les dossiers CNESST et d'invalidité.
- Paie et rémunération : Gérer les systèmes d'information RH, les dossiers des employés, la paie, l'administration des avantages sociaux et les structures de rémunération.
Profil recherché
- Certificat en ressources humaines accrédité par CPHR Canada ou baccalauréat en administration des affaires, relations industrielles, ressources humaines ou un domaine connexe.
- 2 ans et plus d'expérience de travail administrative.
- L'expérience professionnelle en RH est un atout majeur.
- Maîtrise de l'anglais et de l'Iiyiyuu Ayimuun; le français est un atout. La connaissance de l’anglais est requise pour ce poste en raison de la nécessité de communiquer régulièrement avec une clientèle et des partenaires anglophones.
- Excellentes compétences en communication et relations interpersonnelles.
- Capacité à gérer de multiples priorités et parties prenantes simultanément.
- Innovation, adaptabilité, sens des responsabilités, initiative et souci du détail.

Located in Eastmain, along the majestic East Coast of James Bay, Wabannutao Eeyou Development Corporation (WEDC) is the largest employer in the Community. It regroups several entities, including a hotel, a gas station, as well as waste management, transportation, and construction companies, with a total of nearly 150 employees.
About the Role
As a Human Resources Advisor, you will support managers and employees across the organization in all HR areas. Your day-to-day will mainly include:
- HR Operations : Supporting the management team on various HR topics such as workforce planning, organizational development, talent management, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, and continuous improvement of HR practices.
- Health & Safety : Supporting health and safety initiatives (committees, programs, etc.), and managing CNESST and disability files.
- Payroll & Compensation: Managing HR information systems, employee files, payroll, benefits administration and compensation structures.
What We Are Looking For
- Certificate in Human Resources accredited by CPHR Canada or Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Human Resources or a related field.
- 2+ years of administrative work experience.
- Professional experience in HR is a strong asset.
- Fluent in English and Iiyiyuu Ayimuun, french is an asset. Knowledge of English is required for this position due to the need to communicate regularly with English-speaking clients and partners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Innovation, adaptability, sense of responsibility, initiative, and attention to detail.
