Part-time Waitstaff - Assisted Living Atlantic Shores Retirement Community - Virginia Beach, VA 23454 Overview Salary Range $15.50 - $18.60 Hourly Position Type Part Time Category Restaurant - Food Service Description Ready to become part of an organized team and company? Looking for a job where there are no late nights? If so, the Dining Services team at Atlantic Shores is anxious to meet you! As an Atlantic Shores Waitstaff you will work together with the Dining Services team to make sure that our residents have an enjoyable dining experience. This is a great entry level job where you can grow and become a part of a team that feels like family. Earn a competitive hourly rate between $15.50 and $18.60 based on years of experience. This is a part-time opportunity with the potential to go full-time. Evening and weekend availability is required between Sunday and Saturday. Typical hours are 4-7:30pm or 11am-7:30pm. Additional compensation includes:
Hourly employees:
1.5x Holiday Pay 1.5x Overtime Pay for every hour worked over 40 hours per week
Full-time employees:
Generous PTO beginning with a maximum of 104 hours annually Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, Supplemental: Accident/Cancer/Critical Illness, Legal Resources, and Identity Theft Tuition reimbursement: up to $5,250 annually for qualifying coursework

Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Entry level-no experience necessary. Prior food service or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
Good communication skills. Ability to interact with residents, kitchen staff, and dining team members. Organization and time-management skills. Must have reliable transportation to work and be punctual. Positive attitude and teamwork.
