About the Role Senior Software Engineer II – Frontend The Financial Platform team is a collaborative engineering squad focused on the Pay by Bank product and key product experiences like signup and checkout. We work closely with product, design, and compliance partners, and our user journeys tend to be more complex than average due to the diverse needs of our customers. What You’ll Do Develop mission‑critical consumer flows for new features and experiment on existing ones. Partner with product and design to scope and plan work, creating flexible execution plans when ideal routes are not available. Mentor other engineers, helping them grow their skills to meet the evolving needs of Dutchie’s customers. What You Bring 5+ years of development experience. Experience with React, Typescript, and deep knowledge of JavaScript. Leadership skills, including successful mentoring experience. Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration. Experience building user experiences within complex products. A commitment to clean, tested, and well‑organized code with strong fundamentals. Comfortable working in an agile environment where code is shipped frequently. Bonus Experience with Financial Technology or fintech experience. Exposure to rapid company growth (startup to mid‑size). First‑principles thinking from the customer’s perspective. Contributions to open‑source projects. You'll Get $149,000 – $180,000 starting salary, based on the intended level for this role.
