Position Description: Are you someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and being the welcoming face of an office? We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and detail-oriented Reception/Medical Records Clerk to join our outpatient behavioral health team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys a later start to the day, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values meaningful work supporting children and families receiving mental health services.

Consistent, predictable scheduling
Potential 4-day work week option
Time during traditional business hours for appointments, errands, school schedules, or family needs
Schedule Options Monday-Thursday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM and Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
OR
Four 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday (approximately 9:00/10:00 AM - 7:00/8:00 PM depending on therapist schedules)
Responsibilities
Greeting and assisting clients, families, and visitors
Answering phones and scheduling appointments
Managing, organizing, and maintaining medical records and confidential documentation
Filing, scanning, indexing, and uploading records into the electronic health record system
Completing accurate data entry and maintaining client information databases
Assisting with record requests, chart preparation, and documentation tracking
Maintaining organized electronic and paper filing systems
Assisting clinical staff with administrative and clerical support
Coordinating communication between providers, clients, and outside agencies
Maintaining a professional, welcoming, and organized office environment
Requirements
High School diploma.
Strong computer, organizational, and data entry skills required.
Preferred skills:
Experience in medical reception, healthcare administration, medical records, or customer service preferred
Experience with behavioral health settings is a plus
Experience working with electronic health record systems preferred
