Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. In this armed post, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $21.74 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat10:00 AM - 08:00 PMSun10:00 AM - 08:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points and assist with screening, visitor management, and credential verification while following post orders and healthcare location protocols.
- Support emergency and medical-related response efforts by helping with crowd control, access coordination, and/or direction during urgent situations, while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
