Key Responsibilities of a Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician:
* Carry out services on specific makes and models of vans and cars
* Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
* Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
* General maintenance and repairs
* MOT Prep & MOT Post Repairs
* Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)
* Suspension work
* Repairs on lights
* Repairing and replacing exhausts
* Repairing and replacing clutches
* Dealing with gearboxes
* Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.
* Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed
Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician Requirements:
* MUST have a UK NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI qualification to Level 3
* Hold a full valid driver license.
* Previous experience of working on Ford or Mercedes Vans would be beneficial
* If you hold EV & Hybrid or F Gas qualifications this is beneficial but not essential
