What You Will Do
Support the VP of Sales and Marketing in achieving departmental revenue goals.
Receive and actively pursue commercial opportunities for terminaling and intermodal activities in Houston and Charleston, SC.
Prepare proposals and negotiate commercial terms and conditions for storage and intermodal agreements.
Monitor customer relationships, coordinate performance reviews, and follow up on complaints.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure agreement terms are properly executed.
Participate in market intelligence gathering and development of proactive marketing strategies.
Provide regular reporting on sales and marketing activities.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
3 to 5 years of sales and marketing experience
Strong verbal and business writing skills
Knowledge and/or experience in bulk liquid transportation, storage and distribution of chemicals
Familiarity with chemical products, applications, and the petrochemical industry
Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card required
Fluent English with strong public speaking ability
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with logistics planning and supply chain coordination
Proficiency in CRM systems
Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, or Citrix
Existing relationships within the petrochemical or bulk liquid chemical industry
Comfort engaging new business through LinkedIn and industry conferences
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with occasional evenings or weekends as needed
Travel required to customer facilities across the US
Non-smoking, air conditioned office environment
Role involves close proximity to hazardous petrochemicals in terminal environments
