Operating from our advanced manufacturing facility in Gort, Co.
Galway, we specialise in the design, manufacture, and installation of modular buildings for sectors including Data Centres, Commercial, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Education, and Residential.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and oversee projects from factory production through to site installation and final handover.
The Role The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of modular construction projects from inception to completion as well as site based work during delivery & install.
This includes managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and handover.
This role will involve close collaboration with factory production teams to ensure efficient manufacturing operations, while also providing leadership and oversight on-site during installation and project delivery phases.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Manage projects from contract award through to practical completion and client handover.
Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring alignment between factory production schedules and site installation activities.
Coordinate internal teams including Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Logistics, and Site Operations.
Manage project budgets, cost reporting, and resource allocation.
Lead project meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, delays, and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
Coordinate procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and specialist packages.
Manage subcontractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Oversee site installation works and ensure successful integration of modular units on-site.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Prepare regular project reports for senior management and clients.
Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery.
Requirements Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related construction discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Management role within the construction industry.
Proven track record delivering construction projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Strong understanding of project planning, construction sequencing, and programme management.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Full clean driving licence.
Desirable Experience in modular or off-site construction.
Experience working on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Commercial, or Industrial projects.
Knowledge of BIM and digital construction processes.
Formal Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
Health & Safety qualifications such as Safe Pass, IOSH, or NEBOSH.
