Operations Manager

EverLine Coatings and Services, a rapidly scaling commercial service brand is looking for an experienced, reliable, and proactive Operations Manager to lead our Seattle location. Our small but rapidly growing team is in need of a critical field training and support function leader to successfully launch and support our growing network.

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee all staff, budgets, and operations of the local business unit. The Operations Manager responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, executing this strategy, managing people, and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you'll help our company grow and thrive.

Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, designing strategy and setting goals for growth, maintaining budgets and optimizing expenses, setting policies and processes, ensuring employees work productively, arriving to work on time, and developing professionally, overseeing recruitment and training of new employees, evaluating and improving operations and financial performance, directing the employee assessment process, preparing regular reports for ownership, ensuring staff follows health and safety regulations, and providing solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).

Requirements and skills include proven experience as an Operations, General Manager or similar role, experience in planning and budgeting, ability to train and coach the staff on proper tool usage, easily seeing new business opportunities, experience with using hand and power tools and is skilled enough to use the proper tools to troubleshoot broken equipment on jobsites, make repairs, and help with scheduled maintenance on equipment, knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.), strong analytical ability, effectively prioritizing and delegating tasks, excellent communication skills, outstanding organizational and leadership skills, problem-solving aptitude, BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus, bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, previous Automotive Mechanic work or small engine work like Honda lawnmowers is a plus, welding skills is a plus.

Compensation: $67,500.00 per year
