An exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing space software company developing cutting-edge technology for aerospace and defence customers. We're looking for a customer-facing Technical Sales Engineer who can combine strong technical expertise with commercial awareness, helping customers understand how complex software solutions can solve real mission challenges. Responsibilities
Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective customers. Deliver engaging software demonstrations and technical presentations. Scope and support Proof of Concept engagements. Partner closely with Sales, Product and Engineering throughout the sales cycle. Translate customer requirements into technical solutions. Build trusted relationships with government agencies and prime contractors. Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and demonstrations. Qualifications
5+ years' experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or a similar customer-facing technical role. Experience working within the satellite, space or aerospace industry. Previous experience supporting US Government or Defence customers. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience delivering software demonstrations and customer presentations. Knowledge of cloud-native technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes and Docker. Understanding of secure software deployments within defence environments. Active or recent security clearance is advantageous.
