Radiology - Interventional Physician

Summary:

Join a dynamic healthcare team at a well-respected facility in Bismarck, North Dakota. This locum opportunity offers coverage for Interventional Radiology (IR), with preferred capabilities for stroke. The position requires an 8-hour workday, primarily from 8 AM to 4 PM, along with evening call coverage from 4 PM to 8 AM and 24-hour weekend calls. • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, including angiography and angioplasty.
• Conduct interventional procedures such as IVC filters, TIPS, and central lines.
• Execute aspiration/drainage procedures and percutaneous needle biopsies.
• Manage patient caseload during scheduled shifts, with an expectation of performing 10-15 procedures daily.
• Participate in evening and weekend call rotations as required.
• Ensure compliance with EMR documentation using Epic.
• Intervene in emergencies as needed during call schedules.

• Board Certified in Radiology.
• Valid North Dakota Medical License (or IMLC if ND license not active).
• Fellowship or residency in Interventional Radiology.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Experience with all listed procedures in the required procedures list.

• Current Board Certification in Radiology (Required).
• North Dakota State License (highly preferred) or IMLC if ND license is not active.
• ACLS and BLS Certifications (Required).
• Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).
• Must have completed a Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation.
