SME Network Engineer

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
We are actively seeking Network Engineers with a minimum of 16 years' experience. Bachelor's or Master's Degrees are preferred in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following... Experience and expertise working with commercial cloud service providers (eg. Google Cloud, Azure, AWS) building out VPCs with Linux VMs, configuring them as network appliances (eg. Linux as a router) and locking them down to meet cyber security standards. Experience configuring and hardening Linux OS in both cloud and physical environments. Experience configuring and hardening network gear to include firewalls, switches, routers, IPS, etc. Experience and expertise working with commercial VPNs Experience working with commercial messaging applications (CMA) and Android tablet devices. Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues after hours and on weekends, ie. Call in support. Desired Qualifications:
Experience and expertise deploying CNGA internet network infrastructure with an thorough understanding of the customers mission Working knowledge and expertise using the customer's core appliances and services to include their networks. The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $195,000 - $225,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
