QA Automation Engineer
to join our development team. A successful candidate will collaborate closely with developers and product teams to design, implement, and maintain automated test solutions that ensure high-quality software delivery. This role will help advance our quality strategy by increasing automated test coverage, improving CI/CD reliability, and reducing reliance on manual testing. This position will play a key role in defining automation standards, frameworks, and best practices across teams while continuously improving our overall quality processes. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Create and execute automated test suites for web, mobile, and OTT applications. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable, repeatable test execution. Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and partner with developers to resolve defects efficiently. Review requirements and technical designs to provide early feedback on testability and automation feasibility. Maintain and enhance existing test automation, ensuring scalability and maintainability. Establish automation best practices, standards, and documentation. Collaborate with manual QA, developers, DevOps, and product teams to improve overall test coverage and release confidence. Continuously evaluate and adopt new automation tools and technologies. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining test automation solutions. Strong experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar). Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used for automation (e.g., Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python). Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar). Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and test strategies. Strong debugging skills with the ability to identify root causes of complex test and environment issues. Experience with automated API testing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
